I have looked at both, but don't beleive that they are so convienent. Being attached to the vehicle, say the back of an SUV or on the top of a pickup has the liablility of needing to be struck everytime I go to "town" in the SUV or truck. If it's in the back of the pickup you have to deal with the truck beds' size limits. Better to just buy a big tent and stake it out, imho. It's what we did. eace:
That could be, we bought our newest tent two years ago. I think it was $39.99 at Academy Sports and Outdoors. Also got a new cooler, sleeping bags from Bass Pro Shop, new air mattresses, and some other things. Our emphasis then was to be as conservative as possible and have some money to go on the road with as the next month we went to the 06 Bullitt Nationals in San Fransisco.
