I realize most reviewers say the Escape has somewhat of a noisy ride. However, these noises sound uncharacteristic to when i bought the truck. So it sounds like a ringing noise, like almost like a washer hitting a loose nut or something along those lines. My dad told me we do have to replace a front wheel bearing so it could be that, however i hear another noise also particularity when i reach 40+mph seems the faster i go the more noise i hear. Any ideas?

Do you feel any vibrations in the steering wheel or under the floor when you hear that noise above 40mph? Since the faster you go the more noise you hear it very well could be a wheel bearing, they are prone to go kaput on Escapes often. The CV joints also a thing to watch, if you feel vibrations in the steering wheel it could also be the CV joints, or both.
How many miles are on your escape?

No vibrations in the steering wheel, 143k. Definitely going to take a look at wheel bearing that was next in line after rear shoes once everything calms down after the holidays. Cv joint cant be on the passenger side because i just changed that whole one.
