So, I'm somewhat leary of asking this, but almost "Anything Goes", right? I can't believe it took me this long to find this site. I was active on the "other EC" up until last March or so. Last Spring, I became unemployed, and all my computer time was spent looking for another job all Summer. I can't access a lot of forums from my new job (probably is a good thing) :angel:. I checked in on the "other" site every now and then from home, and found it very dead. I accidentally stumbled across this new wonderful site this week -- while Googling "CD4E" . Here, I find a lot of familiar names, and an active source of very useful information.

Did something major happen over there -- which caused a mutiny? I know they used to get hit with porn spam, but that finally got under control.

Forgive me if I'm out of line for asking this. I was just "curious".

I for one never had a problem with the other EC. I broke 20K posts and all most all the old timmers had fadded away. I still do one or two posts a day over there, but in most cases am writting to only a couple folks who are hagging on. This was formed by a younger group who seemed to have some different views from the others and I can't say they were bad because here I am!! :shades:

Well, it was back in EC's infant days, and I was on a family holiday (Without interweb access) that week, so it got to 3 pages before I could intervene

Anyhow, with regards to Maverick City, the best people saw the light and moved here, ok there has been some "slow" times, esp the last few months, but the forum has picked up again, mainly due to new members posting, keep it up, and welcome to the forum :thumb:
