I was told it is part of the rocker cover, however, I can not find a picture of a replacement part that looks right.

The rocker cover is also called the valve covers. You are missing the oil filler cap.

I know the oil filler cap was off when I took this photo ... I was in the middle of an oil change at the time.

That's when I noticed the big hole in the front section of the rocker cover!

There is a whole lot of stuff going on in this image, what specifically? There are 2 cam/valve covers (one missing something and can see the timing chains), motor mount, a coolant hose, a whole lot of oil and gunk, and so on.

I had oil spewing all over the place!

Yes, the oil filler cap was off in the pic because I was in the middle of an oil change when I noticed the big hole in the rocker cover (front part).

It's too cold to work outside here in Ontario, so I have temporarily patched the hole with JB Weld putty. Waiting on better weather to comelplete the repair.
