So what's going on with Escape-City vs. Escape-Central? What was the reasoning for creating it? Not saying it isn't a bad idea as the other one is horribly outdated, yet I don't fully see the point of a whole new site. I've heard that new accounts couldn't be created on ********* which is also a problem.
To be honest, I'm sticking with the old unless this one somehow takes over. I'm definitely sticking to it until the colors are changed in the forum. It's almost impossible to find the actual post with the colors only varying slightly between posts. Posts seem to hide between signatures.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated and will definitely be considered.
This site is just getting started by peope who really care about maintaining an informative and updated site and already changes have occurred on a regular basis.
Also, I think the world wide web is big enough to have more than one Escape site.

Just the fact that the old forum was horribly outdated was enough to cause a lot of long time members to gradually drift away. Many members offered to help out with the site & where totally rebuffed by the site owner I guess.
The members who had tried to stick it out finally got fed up with the way the old site was being run, the total lack of any reasonable moderation which allowed 27 page flame wars to continue just got to the point where it wasn't fun anymore.
Stick around here for a bit & I think you will see a real fresh improvement in the whole atmosphere. The site is constantly being updated/upgraded & constructive suggestions are always welcome (unlike the other site).
If you don't like it here, then stick with the old way. Nobody here will hold it against you. There is no reason we can't all get along/co-exist just fine.

Hi and thanks for visiting our site. :beer: While we are not trying to compete with anyone. We are certainly learning from observed mistakes. As far as we're concerned there is no us and them. This is something we felt compelled to do, to give everyone a place to hang their hat and feel comfortable.

Thanks for the info and I agree with the lack of moderation and updates. I just hope this board stays on topic a lot more...and judging by the 1 or 2 Escape topics and the 100 non-Escape topics, it's not starting off good. Though I also realize it's just getting going so I will not worry about that until (and if) the user count keeps growing.

Make sure you check out all our forums. There are definitely more than 1 or 2 Escape topics. )
