So, as others have posted on here - I'm looking to get some new wheels. BUT question is - what kind? I'm most likely going with black rims, but what brand? Any suggestions or ones to steer clear of? I got a quote for powdercoating the stocks (about 80a wheel, includes sandblasting) but for 20 bucks more I could just get what I wanted. Thoughts/suggestions?

I agonized for months over what wheels to get for my 09 Escape. I wanted black with a machined and polished lip, no silly rivets around the rim or anything else that would make them hard to clean, and I wanted 5 spoke. There are a few websites that let you view their rims on any color Escape and they helped. Finally when all was said and done I ended up with a set of Ford Racing Black Bullit wheels. The ones designed for the 05-09 Mustang had the offset I wanted. The earlier version had a slightly different offset. Biggest tires I could get to fit were 255/60/17. I think it looks awesome, but that's just me. Send me your email address or tell me how to post a pic on here and you can judge for yourself.

It's funny you asked that. I got it from a friend here at work who has (well... had until two weeks ago, now just his unlimited) two Jeeps and changed it to Escape. :lol: Every time you all post Jeep pics and vids I forward to him. He keeps prodding me to bring the Escape out with him. :shrug:
