You know we started out with Bar shootings, Moved to Schools, Churchs, Fast food Places, Drug Stores, Hospitals and now of all places Old Folks Home! That is just too much. Our Legislature is trying to pass a Law where it will be legal to carry a concelled weapon without a permit. As it is now you can anywhere out in the country. Not in cities, Bars , Govt. buildings. where is it going to end

Most of the crimes committed with guns are done with illegally procured weapons (as far as I know; feel free to find something to dispute that, and I'm not sure about this nursing home shooting). I think that we should have the right to bear arms but I also believe that concealed weapons permits are a good thing.

I'm with you! ^^^. Carry by permit only. That and taking a safety class on the handling of the firearm, with recurrent training. :yes: Just getting a firearm and putting it in a drawer someplace is not proper handling of a firearm. :rant: Most people that are injured by a firearm do it to themselves, with their own weapon. :wacko:
Out here we grow up with guns. I've had a rifle and shot gun since I was 14 and took my HUNTERS SAFTEY Class. I was a hunter for the major part of my life. I have owned 4 hand guns and sold them when my girls were young. For ATVing in the mountains I carry BEAR SPRAY. I walking very early in the morning I carry a STUN GUN 120,000 Volts. I'm sorry however there are some cases where a person must carry a hand gun but I am not one. I also woulsn't use an AK47 to hunt DEER. Everyone does Not Need a Gun!
