It's baseball, and I like most of the teams. I am a Rangers fan and root for them. But a good game of baseball outwieghts any football, basketball or other team sport. :peace:

I'm not a huge baseball fan. It can be boring at times but I've been getting back into it the last year or 2. I can't wait to see a game at the Mets new stadium. Shea was such a dump. City Field looks sweet :thumb: I'm just hoping we don't collapse at the end of the season like we did the last 2 years...

The Mets collapse

Nah! Never happen!

...Triple-A farm team of the Mets. Great downtown ballpark (Coca-Cola Field, HOK's model for Camden Yards and US Cellular Field), great fans, great ticket prices, great food, and fireworks every Friday night.

I'm a Yankees fan. I wasn't that into baseball until I started dating a girl in 1997 and she would take me to Yankee stadium a couple times a year, that's the way to get into baseball! I liked Jeter, Posada, Bernie Williams and clumsy Chuck Knoblock  Watching it on TV just isn't the same though. I did love when they play "New York New York" after every win at Yankee Stadium though. I haven't seen them in person since a 2002 game in Tampa.

I'm going to a Jacksonville Suns (Marlins Singe-A) game this Saturday, first time there.

I didn't see the game, but caught the Sportscenter review. The Yankees were creamed in Monday's game at Tampa 5 to 15. It got so bad for New York in the pitching department that, in the 8th inning, they put their first baseman Nick Swisher on the mound, and he got 1 walk, 1 strike and 2 to pop out in that inning

I haven't seen anything that funny since the New York Jets, in the late 90s, put their punter Tom Tupa under center at the end of the game because all the QBs were hurt (he was the emergency QB). First time I'd ever seen a QB with one white shoe and one black! :hyst:
I am a Atlanta Braves fan but like most all I am mostly a baseball fan. as long as the game is good I really don't care who is playing. the only other sport I watch is Hockey.
