Belated xmas and early HNY !

First real snow fall I've had my Escape out in. It took some getting used to but the traction control is amazing. Gunned it coming up my hill and easily got to 25-30 mph and the TC dropped the power so I didn't slide.

The traction control or anti sliding (I forget what they call it) takes some getting used to. When I expect a drift it kicks in and sometimes there is a little drift, sometimes its so good that it gets the car to spin almost right into the 90 degree turn.

Almost Doing donuts with FWD ! LOL Couldn't believe the turn radius I could get because of the traction control.

So like I said, it will take some getting used to the "different" handling when the car kicks in but I was rather impressed.

Thanks Stone. That was taken a w/in the first 30 days of ownership in the rolling hills of Northern NJ. BTW, Little Tonka, luv it they do look like Tonkas. LOL

I know. I think she said they got around 18 inches, but she was guessing. She said she couldn't sleep because the wind was blowing so bad and knocking snow off the roof and the snow kept banging into her window.

Robt, I think you got it worse than me. I'm in NW NJ where we usually get the highest amounts. I live on the border of Sparta which usually gets the most accumulation for NJ for the year. That said, this one tracked the coast and I think you got more.

I have no clue how much I got. There are 4ft snow drifts and then there are spots I can see my grass. The wind has been brutal.

We got 24 inches here in Staten Island, New York. They still haven't plow my street, I live in a dead end street. But My Mariner will make it.

Well I live in Neptune nj we gott 32 inches of snow last week. Unfortunately my 2wd was snowed in for 4 days because the township leaders fell apart and couldn't plow any of the streets for 4 days. Escape 2wd is good in snow as long it less than 10 inches
