I'm looking to swap out the silver trim from my XLT to the piano black trim from the Limited-level Escapes...

painted mine glossy black myself from the silver, very easy. if you wanted to look in that direction.

Howd you do it?
The center console came in today... so I think I am just going to proceed with an entire swap

really easy. you just unclip all the parts such as air vent, thermo controls, fourway switch etc. once you have everything un-cliped and all you have is the face, just do a light wet-sand and paint away. took me about an hour or two to do that and the silver around the shifter and the silver piece on the shifter.
