I am coming up for a brake change. While I am at it I want to chage out the front rotors just for the fact that they are all rusted out (obviously not the break path, except for when it sits for a day or two then it rusts) I just want a clean look and possible extra stopping power (slotted). Anyone have any ideas????
From what I've read, blank rotors are most often recommended for daily drivers. I've read that the Brembo blank rotors are quite good. I would like to replace the rotors and pads on my Escape, so wouldn't mind hearing others' input on what works and what doesn't.
True I could drill my own holes, but I would have look for a pattern to drill. Wish I had a lathe to add slats. I check you all up dated when and if I change rotors.
if your worried about brake dust, i would install wheel shields that bolt between the rim and rotor hub they look great and you can paint them. i havent found any yet for cheap if anyone does met me know
Well brake dust went up a little, but its worth it to me to have better stopping.
