--Every year the Movie makers come out with new horror movies, but
non of them can touch the one that scares me the most.

The Original 'The Haunting' (1963/I)
Directed by Robert Wise. With Julie Harris & Claire Bloom, in B&W.

What is you're most favorite Horror Movie?

I'm actually not much of a horror fan... most movies are just way too predictable.

I am a fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show on the other hand!!! :thumb: Going to the halloween midnight showing this saturday! Woooooo!

But if I had to choose a few, I'd say the original "Alien" is tops!

Others I liked include "The Cell" (creepy suspense like no other!), "The Shining" (creepy and disturbing), "Nightmare on Elm Street" (you know things get creepy when you hear the little girls sing... "one two Freddies coming for you..." and of course "Jacob's Ladder".

Not my favorite, but the scariest I've ever seen in my life: The Exorcist!!

Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".

That's an old one for sure. I still get the twist in my stomach whenever I see a flock of birds near the seashore.

I don't really have a favorite. A couple that scared the heck out of me:

The Hills Have Eyes parts 1 and 2

Hostel parts 1 and 2

May or may not be classified as horror but the book Helter Skelter scared me to death the whole time I was reading it and for a while after ( had a real hard time going to sleep). The movie was also horrifying.

Loved the original Friday the 13th movie.

Also loved Rocky Horror Picture Show (especially the audience participation scene).
