(headlight) switch swap

Its not a button nor does it light up. I don't have any extra remotes for an aftermarket alarm. I thought it came in all '08 Hybrids. I'll check with my dealership on Saturday and I think they can debug it.

Hopefully it's a button that enables the KITT from the new (well, it was new a few years ago, but got cancelled) Knight Rider. Maybe you'll find out that your escape has the nano particle body and that it can transform into an F-150, Flex, and the awesome Mustang? That would be so cool. If it so happens to be that, please let me know. I'll trade you Escapes.

I loved it! I had to hurry home from class (and pray that they didn't actually keep us the whole allotted time) when I was in grad school (we had night classes) to watch it. I was so mad how it ended and that they didn't continue it...

I was disappointed that it only lasted a single season too. I would watch it online in my dorm room usually the day after the newest episode aired. I thought the ability of the KITT to morph into different vehicles was a bit over the top though.

To tell you the truth, I can't remember how it ended. I recall reading that they were juggling the order of the episodes were supposed to air to "reboot" the series.

It ended similar to how the original ended. KARR was a secret project that they unveiled (again) and KARR was the bad version of KITT. KITT in the end killed off KARR and Knight Industries and KITT were going to continue to serve and protect. That's pretty much how it ended. Agreed that KITT morphing was a little over the top, but it was fun to watch and wonder what Ford he'd turn into next.

Just wanted to bump this thread up as I just stumbled upon it today.

I might look into doing it myself as it's a simple mod which will add a touch of refinement to the Escapes.
