Spec D tuning halo headlights

Postby Kaloleni - December 9th, 2020, 12:15 am

hello all,

A couple of months ago I purchased aftermarket halo headlights from spec d tuning, that came with HID as well for i think around $280. They look amazing in the day with the running lights. But ive been having trouble actually seeing at night, idk if its the actual headlight unit themselves or just the bulbs but i can barely see outside my escapes body width. If anyone has figured this out please help.

Are you sure they are HID? They seem to just be projector halogen low, halogen reflector high beams.

I prefer projector low beams over reflector, but if they do have HID bulbs with halogen projector lenses, that doesn't work real well.

If they are not made for HID bulbs the light from HID bulbs will go everywhere, including bothering ocoming traffic.
