2008-2012 Shifter trim in chrome

So apparently the chrome parts on my 2009 Mariner are just all determined to shred my fingers as much as possible. I've replaced both front interior door handles because the chrome plating peels and is SHARP. Now the chrome trim on the shifter is starting to do the same thing and I want to take care of it before it draws any more blood.

Does anyone know what part this would be that I need to search for? I only need the chrome strip, I don't want to spend a ton of money on the entire assembly if that's possible.

Thanks for that! So it's looking like I'd have to replace the entire shifter? That kinda sucks, especially since I'd be buying used. No telling if the "new" one would start peeling right away anyway.

I’m sure you could order a new one from ford at your dealer. For an absolute premium. $$$$

So after waiting forever, I finally pulled the trigger on this. I did end up having to buy the entire floor shifter assembly, which I wasn't really wanting to do. I got one on an ebay sale but it still seemed wasteful. I just pulled the handle apart to get at the single piece of trim I wanted to swap, and I'm happy with the result. This is the third piece of chrome trim in the cabin that I've had to replace due to bubbling up into a really sharp hazard. Hopefully it's the last.
