I've been hearing not so great things about them, so who knows?

They're not for everyone for sure. I have 13000 miles on mine. And so far I'm liking it.

So, you did get one, I'm glad to hear you like it they seem nice to me. Are you ok with it's stop-start feature?

To be honest I just don't get the start/stop feature. I would think that it would just add wear to the engine by it constantly cycling. It is pretty seamless though. Most of the time I just turn it off when I first start it. I have not seen any changes with the MPG with it on or off.

They have beefed up the starter and battery to allow for all those additional cycles of use. There is a way to permanently disable it using your OBD II and a program called FORSCAN. However, if you do it wrong, you have a very expensive paperweight.
