2.3 Escape Auto (GF4) clutch assembly installation

Hi all. Apologies if this has been answered before, but opened up my 4-speed auto box thinking it was the dreaded 2-4 band failure on the CD4E box. Turns out my car was fitted with the Mazda GF4E gearbox and there is very little online resources.

Band and drum looks fine, so is probably not the cause of me losing 4th gear/OD. Trying to get the clutch packs refitted and it is proving to be a mission with the tranny still in the car.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get these easily lined up and installed? Am stumped at this point.
