There was a point where I freaked out during the rescue. The front end had sunk so low (the "ground" was up to over half the height of the front wheel) that my catalytic converter or some other hot engine part must have started burning grass because a bunch of smoke shot out. For a split second I thought I had fried my tranny.
Otherwise, it's fine. It's reinforced my idea of lifting the front end and buying that Gibson exhaust, if nothing else than to get a little more clearance and protect those vital under-parts especially when I go "nose down" after cresting hills.

I should have taken a picture of the front bumper cover at the worst part. I really thought I was going to lose it by having it ripped out. As it is, I think the grille guard may have helped a bit by being between the the bottom of the bumper and the ground.
