Strut tower brace installed

I found a difference with the brace. It feels more planted on turns for sure. Also felt a difference on the highway with higher winds. It doesn't sway as much side to side.

I did have some issues with the install, I had to drill to widen the holes a little bit as they wouldn't align without it.

I took some pictures but they're on the computer, so I can upload them later.

Another thing to note for Canadians is that it'll come by UPS and you'll have to pay an extra $30ish for duties on delivery.

Looks as though I’m talking to myself haha.
After a bit of driving, I think the bar does make a difference. Having said that, new struts and shocks have really changed the ride more than anything else. But, yeah, I think there’s something to it.

Sorry friends, you are not alone. We are having the chinese new year vacation and extended the date long, due to the coronavirus which spreading in mainland china, even my home town- Hong Kong. We will get back to office in coming 9 Feb.

Is anyone having difficulties installing the REVISED version of this SB? Or has it all been resolved? (I am referring to some posts saying some holes needed to be drilled/enlarged - is that still an issue?)

I installed it in late 2018, the same bar in the picture you posted. I believe I had to widen one hole on each side.

Re: the hole you widened: Was it one of the main four holes for the strut bolts? I PM'd the seller and he said it was for some different "small hole"??
Hmmm that makes me hesitant to buy one, as I am not sure i have the tools nor the DIY ability to widen holes and whatnot.

I just want to make the Escape a bit less rolly-polly. I might just go with some KYB Struts when the time comes for new struts and hope that might be enough... It's a bummer the SB is not a direct fit without having to widen holes...
