Thanks, and I never would have thought of it if I hadn't seen the one in this thread. :shrug: It looked so much better with no license plate in front for the few hours it was off :cuss:

I feel you, here in the Quebec province of Canada, we don't have front license plate!!!!

Ford provide the bracket for the front license plate but I don't have to put it, so if someone is interested to have one, I will give it free of charge for someone interested in :yes:

Max looks great. i might look at doing that to mine after it gets back out of the body shop.
Don't think I could get them to do it under insurance claim. lol :lol:

How did you remove and reinstall? Mine uses rivets, not screws, to mount mine to the bumper

Really? :? Mine has a lower bracket that hooks into the bottom grille opening then three large screws into the bumper

Does anyone know how to remove the amber in the headlights? I am aware it is illegal and that I have to remove the whole bumperguard but is the headlight factory sealed or are there clips or screws?

The headlights are sealed with some kind of butyl rubber. You would have to bake them in the oven to open them up.

the 2005-2007 Ford Escape Dual Halo w/LED Light Projector Headlights - Black light assembly I used has an amber reflector built in on the inside of the turn signal bulb, but otherwise crystal clear outer lens. to make it legal I just use an amber turn signal bulb.
