Spied! Modded Escape

Spotted this good looking E while at the bank today. Not sure where the owner was though. What I spotted: plastidipped rims, grille, and headlamp housings, side marker reflector removed, rear debadge, 4wd badge added to side doors, carbon fiber wrapped side pillars, A/T tires, and either a whole exhaust system or just a new exhaust tip. This was the first modded E I have seen in my area aside from mine. Needless to say I was pretty excited.

Firestone Destination A/Ts P235/75/R16
Plastidip: smoked tail lights, gloss black shifter bezel, gloss black air vent trim
OEM black moulding (grille, bumper, hatch)
LEDs: front turn signals, front side markers, Morimoto XB LED fog lights, VLEDs V3 Triton Switchbacks, OPT 7 auxiliary pods

Interesting, he took out the amber reflector in those headlights.

I'm guessing this is an 08 for three reasons:
- front air dam
- 4WD emblems to cover up the pins left behind when he removed the Escape emblems
- V6 emblems on the fender that could've been added but properly weren't.
2008 or 2009 because
- no cutout for the liftgate release button
- no blind spot mirrors
Not going to lie, those headlights look better (but are illegal as a result of) with the amber reflector removed.

I have a 2012 that has clear marker lenses and amber bulbs.

He actually had removed the amber lens entirely. May be hard to tell from the picture but he did remove it.
