Escape City app?

I know there is Tapatalk and things like that where you can access EC but has anyone ever thought of making an actual EC app? I know when I had a mustang a couple years ago I joined Mustang Evolution and they had their own app, it was pretty neat. Think it'd be really cool to have one for Escape City.

As of now, there is not an Escape City app. I am taking the liberty of moving this thread to our Directory Assistance forum. Thank you for the suggestion.

Ok, thanks! I think it'd be neat if someone wanted to give it a try. I'm not really savvy with doing things like that, but some other people on here may be interested in it. Figured it wouldn't hurt to suggest it.

I use it too right now, I just thought it'd be a suggestion to bring out the idea of maybe creating an app specifically for this site. Just a thought.

Since we are a privately run site and don't have advertising, funds are non-existent for something like that. Finding someone to volunteer to write an app for the different platforms and keep them up to date is unlikely.

Oh no, just something like what they have but JUST exclusive to Escape City. Nothing involving other forums. Just thought it'd be neat to have an app of our own with quick access from our phones. Nothing fancy or anything.

Just as thought: Anything that will parse the forum threads and process them down to work with a custom app would probably require a back-end addon the way tapatalk works. As long as it doesn't conflict with tapatalk, it should integrate with the content management just fine. It would be shame to loose tapatalk support to this, since it is a great aggregator of forum content on a user's device. I have 15 forums loaded and switch between them constantly. It was windfall when the forums under the AutoGuide brand allowed device users to just add the forum to the tapatalk collection just like any other. I personally use this forum and Taurus club the most. TaurusClub used a different Forum CMS plugin. It was tapatalk with a custom wrapper to make it a standalone app. This lead to inconsistencies between the AutoGuide app UI and general tapatalk forum UI.

My one complaint about Tapatalk is that it removes LIST tags and Table code. They show up as normal paragraphs with carriage returns.
