Vac hoses

Postby 98dingo - October 22nd, 2012, 1:42 pm

I am in need of some help. I am just finishing a engine removal rebuild and replacement on an 01 3.0. I got the motor running but it runs awful. I am suspecting I installed vac lines improperly. What I am looking for is pictures of the correct routing and installation of the lines. The diagram on the sticker is not of help to me. Anyone that can provide actual pictures or insight will be much appreciated. TIA!

Thanks for the pics. I was able to find a leak in one of the fuel hoses. I dont know the correct name for it, but its got a speccial quick connect end on one side and the other side gets clamped on below the TB. I will head to dealer next week to order that part and hopefullly that clears up my problems.

On the third picture (above) its the lower hose on the back side on the black box in the right side of pic

I think i know what one u talking about..i think one u talking about is the evap canister return line? If so i believe u can just pinch them 2 tabs on fitting together on fitting and pull it off.

Then cover the ends so no dirt gets in there...I think this is what your talking about...maybe circle it in paint so we sure we talking about same line..
