Tire suggestions

Looking for any advice on purchasing some new tires for my 08 Limited AWD. I'm trying to avoid being upsold by the sales guy at my tire place or being given junk that he can't sell otherwise. I do about 10,000 miles a year so I need something with a ~60k lifespan and do about a 70/30 split highway/surface. I do a bit of offroading on old mining and logging trails in central California so something that can hold it's own in that department is an advantage. I don't do enough offroading though to call for dedicated tires so my main concern is noise and comfort at freeway speeds. If anyone knows anything that might fit that bill I'm all ears!

I just put yesterday Michelin Premier LTX, those are reccommended for your Escape.
I put 8 years and 93,000 KMS on the previous one same Michelin
