What made you pick a Mariner over an Escape Limited?

Right vehicle at the right time? Exterior styling? ImageImage

In the words of the late, great, Alex Trebek: "Price; Price; and Price!"

...and timing!

...was short on money, and needed a vehicle with cargo room to carry stuff for work; found a high-mileage '08 Mariner Base for $1200; some tender-loving care, and several blistering tyrades of blue language, and it is still running: 2 years, and 23,ooo miles later - total 263k and counting!
Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'! Keep these doggies Rollin'!
