Why not look at the link in my signature? You will see I have detailed records of every drop of fuel I have put in my Escape since I purchased it. I record what brand, octane rating, ethanol content, and location of the station. I also calculated my odometer offset, and factor that in when I enter my data.

Why not do what I do? Use basic mathematics. My manual states the capacity of my tank to be 16.1 US gallons. The manual also says that double clicking is when gas tank is completely filled. Reset the trip the next time you fill up and double click. The next time you fill up double click then look at your receipt take the mileage from the trip od and divide it by the fuel added to the tank. gas pumps are regularly serviced by pump technicians to ensure accuracy. It's an easy way to figure fuel economy no matter how low you like to run your tank.

Both my '01 and '03 get 19 all day with a lead foot.

I was driving for work the other day and had a 60 mile round trip and I was getting 24-26 on the highway. I've got an UltraGauge that I keep track with and we do the odo math

Still need to make an angled mount. Maybe I'll get it done at work tomorrow

Same I have a cinder block for a foot. On a side note, nice to see that I'm not the only one who doesn't sleep. :wall:

The thing when you close your eyes for an extended period of time and when you next open them you feel rested. It's an urban legend though.

2005 Mariner Lux. 3.0 - 4WD. I mostly drive in a suburban county North of St.Louis, so I'd say roughly 50/50 City/Highway, maybe 60/40.

78K, just shy of my 1st 10K miles (purchased 1 year ago this week with 68,8xx mi.)

Ready for this?? I haven't an idea of the MPG's this lil guy gets. I do drive "cautiously" meaning I avoid using the AC unless going steady, on the Highway. I don't gun it out of lights and stops. I keep up with routine maintenance..

I want the best for and most from this vehicle. I absolutely love this lil SUV. I def. take pride in it; just look at Sig. pic. (I think it looks nice, at least).. I digress.

Yea, so I dunno the MPGs lol. I love this vehicle tho :)
