2011 MM 2WD Premier Fuel Filter location

Anybody out the know the location of the fuel filter on these vehicles. I started at the front and from the fuel rail to the EVAP box to the back to the fuel tank, can't find the fuel filter location. I tried a search to no avail.

Per the last paragraph on page 300 of your owners manual:

FUEL FILTER
Your vehicle is equipped with a lifetime fuel filter that is integrated with the fuel tank. Regular maintenance or replacement is not needed.

Not having a replaceable fuel filter or transmission filter was new to me as well, the details didn't exactly jump out until I looked in the appendix at Fuel, filter

It doesn't help that places like RockAuto and Autozone sometimes show a fuel filter (they do for 2.5, not for 3.0, for example) and would happily sell you one. I don't think it goes by generation or engine, but it seems that Gen 1 had an external filter, maybe 2008 first year of Gen 2, but then no more.
