While 2017 has some things the 2016 might not (SYNC 3 available, SYNC Connect available) it would probably come down to the 2017 not looking as much like a jelly bean as a 2016 because of the grille. There were other things I liked about the 2017 over the 2016, I liked the SE rims which are slightly different, the Technology Package vs the 2016 Comfort Package. Also SYNC 3 and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are great, I have cars with the older SYNC and while okay, love the phone integration with SYNC 3.
