2019 Escape order guide out

July 18th, 2018, 11:23 am

No real surprises, moving towards some standard items on most cars that are not the base model.

SE standard with Sync 3
SE and SEL standard Intelligent Access/Push Button start

No more CD it seems? Good riddance! I was going to burn an MP3 CD to keep in mine, but I picked up a 16 gig thumb drive for 4 bucks and use that instead
No more LED taillights (new in 2017)?

color wise, no more:
blue
cinnamon glaze
shadow black
white gold

but now you can get:
agate black
baltic sea green
sedona orange

Where are you getting this information? Are there pictures? Is there a wireless charger included?

Someone posts the order guides on another forum.

No wireless charging, no wireless Android Auto. Only change there is the renamed Sync Connect, still has the same functionality as 2018 with the hotspot.

A couple added packages, one is the pano roof and wheels for the SEL "Sun and Fun", and SEL Sport Appearance, and Titanium gets a Safe and Smart Plus one.

Paddle shifts on mine are handy when towing, they certainly don't make it (or me) a stop light hero!

I do like the machined faced wheels. I still like shiny wheels (polished, then chrome, then machined, then far far far back are painted ones).

I would be surprised if they went through the trouble of downgrading the tail lights in a mild refresh.

The Fleet Preview guide shows the center stack of the Escape minus the CD. Looks like only the Taurus still has a CD drive.
