2005 ford escape 2.3l

Will 245/75/16 fit my escape stock with minimal or no rubbing also will it mess with the 4cyl performance

Will they rub… Depends on what you do with the vehicle
Is rubbing a major problem… Not always

That's a big tire and your 2.3 will have no fun turning it -esp. if you put 'em on some heavy steel wheels. Your MPG will suffer. And your speedo will be off. If you usually drive 5 over, you'll be closer to 10. Per tiresize.com/comparison/:

I have a 2012 Escape XLT 3L & have replaced my stock tires with 245/75/16 Cooper AT3 4S all terrains. The Coopers are fantastic tires, I get almost 1" more of ground clearance. A speedometer reading of 100 kms/hr means you're going 105.
There is no rubbing, hardly any noise on pavement, great for light to moderate off-road. One of the best mods I've made to my truck, along with the sound system & roof rack. I would not recommend the full ply version for your 4cyl.
