I searched the forum, but the word "Tribute" is ignored in the search engine because it's "too common" a word.. sheesh.
Anyway, I was thinking of adding an aux function to my 2005 Tribute if it was not a big deal. My radio (diff than the Ford versions) has a MD/Tape button that does nothing because nothing is connected to the back, like the optional minidisc or cassette modules, so the radio completely ignores the request when the md/tape button is pushed.
Are there some pins that would have to be jumped on the rear disc or cassette connector to get the radio to recognize the function, and, if so, are there two other pins that an audio line can be fed to?
Thanks.
John
