Hazard lights will not turn off???

i have a 2002 Escape and my hazard lights will not shut off?? only way is when i take out the fuze.

i disconnected the hazard switch and they still stay on.

Even the relay underneath the console the small black one and even replace the flasher relay, still no good

need to see if it could be the turn signal switch.

On an unrelated vehicle, but the principal is the same, I had a problem like this. Turned out to be the ground wire that turns the flasher relay on. The turn and hazard flashers use the same relay. The difference is where the power is directed - left, right, or left and right for the hazard or 4 way. Disconnect the lead going to the turn signals and see if that stops the flashing. If it does, the turn signal switch is shorted internally or the trigger ground wire is shorting out in the column.
