I have a 2009 Escape with roughly 160k miles on it, I noticed lots of clunking from the front end. I have sense replaced both front control arms with new ball joints. After replacing those, it seemed fine but I still am hearing some clunking from time to time and recently I have been hearing a creaking noise when slowing down/accelerating and going over bumps. Any ideas what could be causing the noise?

Hi Max, welcome to the city
Next time you crawl underneath your car you're going to need to shake it down

inspect your motor mounts, inspect your exhaust hangers… inspect your brakes, inspect your struts

is the clunking coming from the front, or the rear, right side over the left side… you'll have an idea of where to begin if you can at least locate it with your ears

even if somebody else needs to drive your car while you're climbing around inside trying to locate it.
