does anybody know if the 2006 and 2008 models use the same mode alternator? i called mechman about gettin a HO alternator and they said that they have one they use for 2006 escape but dont know if it will work on a 2008. Anybody know?

The alternator part numbers are different for both the 2.3 and 3.0 engines from 2005-2007 and 2008, so don't do it.
