There is no simple way to bypass PATS, otherwise it would be completely useless for its stated purpose.

Can't do it unless you either fix everything and program new keys. Might be able to send the PCM out and have PATS deleted, you'd have to check around to see if it's doable on that vehicle.

 

Well damn I was hoping there was a shortcut just to get this motor to run but I guess it’s gonna be cheaper in the long run just to simply pull it and put it in the 06 with the working PATS, but the motor won’t start because it has jumped time terribly.

bro, they hotwired it and it ran… There must be a way to hotwire it. there is probably a YouTube or tiktok video on how to hotwire a Ford… They're stolen all the time.

The only other thing I could think of is at least doing a compression test on the cylinders… I don't know if that will work if it's that bad out of time, the valves may not be closed at top dead center on each cylinder, but you should get some sort of reading.

All I know is that it was stolen from the owner and he wants to truck back after I take the motor out but he doesn’t have the original key and they never have the original key so I don’t know how they stole it from his train yard they could’ve towed it or something
